NJ ASK

- Don't forget this week is NJ ASK testing. Students should arrive by 8:50am. Please make every effort to be on time.  We have early dismissal Monday through Thursday. ALL students are dismissed at 1:10pm.

- PLEASE LEAVE ALL BACKPACKS AT HOME. If possible, leave cell phones at home as well.

- Remember to have your child eat a healthy breakfast and go to bed a little earlier than usual so they are well rested and ready to tackle the test!

Updates

- There will be no school from Friday, April 6 through Monday, April 16. See you back at Ross Street on April 17! Have a safe and happy Spring break!

- The third marking period closes on Thursday April 5. Report cards will be sent home on April 20. Please sign and return the report card envelope asap.

Weekly Reminders

- Friday, December 23rd will be an early dismissal day.  Children are dismissed at 1:10pm. 

- Our Ross Street School Chorus will be performing at the annual Holiday Concert on Wednesday, December 21. Please come to support our students! They have worked very hard to learn a wonderful mix of holiday music.
Daytime Concert: 10:30 am
Evening Concert: 7:00 pm



- It's that time of year! Brrr!!!!  The weather has changed quickly and many students are complaining that they are cold. We have recess outside everyday for 25-30 minutes during the lunch period. The children should have gloves/mittens, a hat, a heavy jacket, and possibly a scarf to wear outside. (If possible, please write your child's name in EVERYTHING!) Students that do not bring their jackets will not be permitted to attend recess.
     Please make sure your child comes to school wearing long sleeves and pants to school in the winter. They are really miserable when they're not dressed properly.  THANKS!

Tricky Tray Friday 11/18

We hope to see you at our annual Tricky Tray at Royal Albert's Palace on Friday, 11/18.  This is one of Ross Street PTO's biggest  fundraisers. Come out and support our school. Who knows...you might be a BIG winner!

Parent/Teacher Conferences

Conferences are coming up October 18-21. Please return conference slips to your child's teacher.  Evening conferences are on Tuesday and Thursday between 7 and 9pm. Daytime conferences are Wednesday and Friday between 2 and 4pm.
